Done Away with two Child Policy

Rajasthan Assembly passes a bill which relaxes its previous provision of two children only provision to contest rural local body election.

For those aspiring to contest Panchayat elections can now have more than two child if one of the two children is differently able.

Now People suffering from leprosy can also contest Panchayat elections and an amendment has been passed regarding this.

 

Bharat ke Veer

Bharat ke Veer a Private Initiative by Actor Akshay Kumar which aids families of paramilitary personnel killed on duty is granted the status of a trust by government of India.

Now a Contribution to Bharat ke Veer has been exempted from Income Tax. The two trustees will be Actor Akshay kumar and Pullela Gopichand.

One can visit Bharat ke Veer website and can make their contributions for the families of soldiers killed on  duty.

No permit for Electric Vehicles, cng

Road Transport and Highway minister Mr Nitin Gadkari announced that from now no permit will  be required for Electric Vehicles (EVs)and the vehicles running on alternative fuel. These alternate fuel includes CNG, bio-fuel, Ethanol, Methanol and Electric Vehicles.

The move has been done to encourage innovation and at the same time induct environment friendly vehicles. He announced this at the 58th annual  convention of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

Mohalla Clinic

Mohalla Clinic, an Initiative by current Delhi government attracted much praise from Ban ki moon the secretary-general of the United Nations & former Norwegian prime minister Gro Harlem Brundtland during their visit to a health facility built under the project in New Delhi.

The Secretary General was deeply touched by the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s strong resolve to help & provide primary health care service for the underprivileged class.

Mohalla Clinics are public health care centres started by Delhi Chief Minister, which provides basic health services to the poor. It includes diagnostics, medicines & free consultation.

Google Dataset Search

Dataset Search a new search engine launched exclusively for scientists, data journalists to find data related to their work. It will work in multiple languages.

It is on the lines of its other prioritized search engine named Google Scholar which is for academic reports and studies.
