Saudi backed LIV Golf League made the players ineligible

PGA Tour, the organizer of the main Professional Golf Tours played by men in the USA & North America suspended 17 professional Golfers.

The decision of suspension came after the Golfers joined to Play Saudi backed LIV Golf series.

Some famous & big golfers such as Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson were also got hit by the suspension.

This suspension costed the relationships of 17 golfers with the sponsors & PGA Tour.

These golfers are now not eligible to play in PGA TOUR tournament, which includes the Presidents Cup.

The Saudi backed LIV Golf has promised great incentives in millions and much more prize money that lured the Top Golfers.

But the PGA Tour suspension doesn't bars those golfers from playing in US Open as the governing bodies are different in there.

Saudi Arabia's ties with LIV raised backlash because of the country's flagrant human right abuses (the brutal 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.)

The inaugral LIV's Golf tournament isn't on TV but the fans can watch them on Youtube and LIV's Golf site.
